Cat Water Fountains
Many cats drink little from a still bowl. A fountain keeps water moving and filtered, which tempts some cats to drink more often.
Buying checklist
- Stainless steel or ceramic over plastic: smoother surfaces are easier to scrub clean.
- The price of replacement filters, and how often the maker says to change them.
- A quiet pump, especially if the fountain will sit in a bedroom.
- Parts that come fully apart for a weekly wash, pump included.
- A reservoir big enough for your home, larger for more than one cat.
